• Before lighting your candle, make sure it is placed on a heat-resistant surface, away from any flammable materials and out of reach of children and pets.
• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent the wick from becoming too long, which can cause excessive flickering, smoke, and uneven burning.
• Light the candle and allow it to burn until the wax has melted all the way to the edges of the container, which usually takes about 2-3 hours.
• It's recommended to burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time to prevent the candle from overheating and causing damage to the container or surrounding areas.
• Before relighting the candle, let the wax cool and solidify to avoid creating a tunnel or uneven surface.
• Always extinguish the candle by snuffing it out with a candle snuffer, instead of blowing it out, which can cause hot wax to splatter and create a fire hazard.
• Finally, it's important to keep the wick centered and free of any debris or trimmings to prevent the candle from burning unevenly and producing excess smoke.
